The diversity of the Great Southern group of companies offers employment opportunities across a huge variety of disciplines and in locations all over Australia. Current full time staff exceeds 300, with up to 700 contractors employed at any one time during peak periods.

The executive team, along with the major functions of finance, HR, administration, legal, IT, corporate sales and marketing are located in the Perth head office. Sales offices are located in all major Australian cities.

Great Southern also employs hundreds of people in a variety of capacities in its national forestry, horticulture and cattle operations. Great Southern’s eucalypt and acacia plantations extend across seven Australian states, with the national forestry team employing over 100 people. Great Southern’s horticultural operations include olive groves and vineyards in some of Australia’s premium growing regions. Additionally, the beef cattle project currently constitutes over three millions hectares and nearly 200,000 head of cattle nationally.
