The following information is provided to assist holders of Great Southern's Transferable Reset Exchangeable Securities ("TREES2" and "TREES3").

Great Southern Limited confirms that the TREES2 coupon amount for the period ending 31 October 2008 is $3.23.

The TREES3 coupon amount for the period ending 31 October 2008 is $3.90.

Both coupons are to be paid on 31 October 2008.  The TREES2 AND TREES3 holders' registers will close 5:00pm AWST on 23rd October 2008 in order to determine entitlement to the coupon payment.
